Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support ongoing maintenance operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and facility-related systems. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, proactive, and capable of working with minimal supervision.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify issues or irregularities

  • Diagnose malfunctions by listening to machines and observing mechanical performance

  • Disassemble machines and components to access and resolve problem areas

  • Test machinery after repairs to ensure systems are fully operational

  • Replace or repair worn or damaged parts as needed

  • Handle general facility upkeep, including lighting replacement (indoor and outdoor), minor wall/furniture moves, and structural repairs

  • Conduct light maintenance on company vehicles and forklifts

  • Complete basic HVAC servicing and support as assigned

  • Inspect and maintain overhead cranes for safe operation

  • Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE

  • Participate in quality initiatives and support continuous improvement processes

  • Consistently maintain punctual and reliable attendance


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and use hands for extended periods

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally

  • Requires close vision, color vision, and depth perception

  • Work environment may include loud noise levels and exposure to mechanical equipment

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 1–3 months of related experience in facility or industrial maintenance preferred

  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered


Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical repair, and HVAC components

  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, safety rules, and operating instructions

  • Good communication skills and ability to work well independently or as part of a team

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
