We are seeking highly experienced Pipefitter Specialists who are capable of working independently on complex tasks with minimal or no supervision. Considered subject matter experts, these individuals play a critical role in guiding teams, resolving technical issues, and ensuring work meets or exceeds quality expectations.
Plan, assign, and direct daily pipefitting activities and installations
Provide expert technical support to pipefitters on layout and installation of systems and equipment
Inspect completed piping systems for compliance with company or customer specifications
Interpret blueprints, job instructions, and specifications; assign tasks accordingly
Assist supervisors in creating build schedules and estimating labor hours for project completion
Recommend process improvements for methods, equipment use, and overall efficiency
Identify and resolve work-related challenges; support team members in troubleshooting
Lead by example and motivate the team to achieve production and quality goals
Ensure accurate markup of field changes on drawings and coordinate with design team
Participate in material tracking, follow-ups, and job site coordination
Attend project and team meetings; help define teardown breakpoints for systems like cable tray, piping, and fencing
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality policies at all times
Perform hands-on work as needed to support project success
Associate degree preferred; or minimum of 10 years of relevant pipefitting experience
Proven leadership in a hands-on, technical environment
Excellent blueprint reading and mechanical layout skills
Strong communication and coordination skills across departments and job sites
Experience estimating materials, labor, and schedule requirements
Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in industrial environments
Regular, on-site attendance is essential to the role
Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, and communicate effectively
May need to climb, crouch, kneel, or work in confined spaces
Regularly lift up to 10 lbs; occasionally up to 25 lbs
Must have good vision (including color, depth perception, and focus adjustment)
Exposure to active mechanical areas and moderate noise levels
