About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in mechanical and electrical project management. Based in Cambridge, Canada or the USA, this individual must be eager and available to travel frequently to job sites across North America. The ideal candidate will be a confident leader with a proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams ranging from 10 to 50 personnel, deliver complex projects on time and within budget, and maintain excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee mechanical and electrical projects from initiation through completion.

Manage full project life cycle: planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and close-out.

Supervise and coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and engineering staff (10–50 team members).

Ensure all work meets industry standards, safety requirements, and client specifications.

Maintain regular communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal leadership.

Conduct site visits and travel as needed to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain quality control.

Identify and mitigate risks proactively.

Report on project status, financial performance, and resource needs.

Qualifications:

7+ years of proven experience managing complex mechanical and/or electrical projects.

Demonstrated leadership of large, cross-functional teams.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP certification is a plus).

Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% or more, including cross-border travel within North America.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
