Job Title: Dimensional Engineer

Job Description:
The Dimensional Engineer is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving quality-related issues within their assigned assembly system. This role requires proactive engagement with data monitoring systems and collaborative coordination with internal quality teams to drive continuous improvement efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Duties include, but are not limited to the following:)

• Conduct daily reviews of data from measurement and validation systems across the production line (including in-station, downstream, and end-of-line).

• Collaborate regularly with quality teams to align on identified issues and agree on corrective action plans.

• Analyze statistical data to develop and execute root cause analyses and recommend corrective actions in conjunction with the project team.

• Participate in improvement initiatives focused on dimensional quality within manufacturing environments.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or a combination of equivalent education and 1–5 years of relevant industry experience.

• Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in statistical process control, probability, and applied mathematics such as geometry, trigonometry, ratios, and proportions.

• Reasoning Ability: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions. Able to address multi-variable problems in standardized settings.

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with quality data analysis tools and the ability to generate actionable, data-driven quality reports.

• Travel Requirements: Domestic travel is required. The role will involve extensive on-site presence at customer manufacturing facilities during active project phases.
