We are seeking a skilled and experienced Food Processing Engineer on a contract basis to join our team in California. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food manufacturing, with specific expertise in hot and cold processing techniques. Responsibilities will include monitoring and optimizing process controls, managing production speeds, and ensuring the safe and efficient use of CO2 gases in the processing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize food processing systems for both hot and cold processes.
- Monitor and adjust process controls to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Manage and optimize production speeds to meet output targets.
- Ensure the safe handling and use of CO2 gases within the processing environment.
- Conduct troubleshooting and provide technical support for process-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processing efficiency and product quality.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in food manufacturing, specifically with hot and cold processing.
- Strong knowledge of process control systems and instrumentation.
- Experience with CO2 gas handling in a food processing setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
