Position Summary:
The Senior Director, Adult Acute Services, will oversee the strategic direction and operational management of adult acute care services within the hospital, including Med/Surg and Rehabilitation units. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the adult acute services department, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master of Science in Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Administration degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of relevant professional progressive nursing leadership experience required; five years preferred.
- Extensive hospital-based experience in Med/Surg and Rehabilitation units.
- Broad knowledge of modern healthcare administration practices and principles.
