Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency situations.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

- Valid RN license to practice in the state of Kentucky or a compact state license.
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room RN experience.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
