Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Critical Care (RN) to lead our critical care department. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of managerial experience in acute/critical care settings and hold a Bachelor’s degree. Current RN licensure in NC or Multistate compact license is required. The candidate must demonstrate a proven ability to drive quality improvement initiatives and foster a culture of excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the critical care unit.
- Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Manage and mentor staff to achieve departmental goals.
- Develop and manage budgets and resources efficiently.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current RN licensure (NC/Multistate).
- 5+ years of managerial experience in an acute/critical care setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven track record of driving quality improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration.
- Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN).
