Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Laboratory to join our team in Western Kentucky. The ideal candidate will possess a Medical Technology Certificate and ASCP or equivalent certification. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required. The Director of Laboratory will oversee all laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing staff, and maintaining high-quality laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. - Manage and mentor laboratory staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Monitor laboratory budgets and resources to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to support patient care and laboratory services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in laboratory technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications:

- Medical Technology Certificate.
- ASCP certification or equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a laboratory management role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare environment.
