Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Emergency Services to lead our Emergency Department at our 140-bed community hospital in Greater Raleigh, NC. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and patient outcomes.
- Manage and mentor a team of emergency department staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Collaborate with other hospital departments to ensure seamless patient care and departmental cooperation.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of three years supervisory experience (Manager role or above) in the Emergency Department.
- Registered Nurse in North Carolina or compact state, or willingness to obtain by endorsement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
- Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
