Job Description

Location: Southwestern Kentucky
Perks: Signing Bonus ($17k for day shift or $22K for night shift)

Job Type: Permanent
Shift Type: 12 hours (days or nights)

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-treatment care

Qualifications:
- Minimum of an Associate degree in Nursing
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky or a compact state
- New Graduates may work under a Kentucky provisional license for up to 6 months with the expectation that an RN license will be obtained within the first 6 months of employment

Skills and Abilities:
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Experience:
- Prior experience in a med-surg setting is preferred but not required
