Pharmacy Director

Hours: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday to Friday (Weekends off)

Your Role:
As the Pharmacy Director, you will:
- Coordinate Services: Engage with medical, nursing, and hospital staff to ensure seamless pharmacy operations.
- Policy Management: Review, revise, and implement policies to enhance pharmaceutical care.
- Budget Oversight: Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial efficiency.
- Personnel Management: Oversee performance evaluations, staffing schedules, and staff development.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by law and hospital policy.
- Clinical Functions: Assist with distributive and clinical functions within the department.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with Material Management to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy.
- Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Idaho.
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of hospital pharmacy experience, with at least three (3) years in a director-level role.
- Skills: Strong operational and clinical background, excellent communication, and leadership skills.
Additional Information:
- Facility Designation: Level 3 Trauma, Level 2 Nursery, Level 2 Stroke Center.
- Licensed Beds: 140+
- Support Structure: Lead a team of 19 direct reports, including Pharmacists, Oncology Pharmacy Manager, and Pharmacy Technicians.
- Department Volumes: 60-80k doses/month.
