Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Pharmacy to lead the pharmacy department in our 80-bed community hospital. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's in Pharmacy, with a Doctorate in Pharmacy preferred. The successful candidate must obtain an NV Pharmacist license within 3 months of hire. The Director of Pharmacy will be responsible for overseeing all pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, managing staff, and optimizing patient care through effective medication management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily pharmacy operations and staff management
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Optimize patient care through effective medication management
- Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes
- Manage budget and financial performance of the pharmacy department

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's in Pharmacy required; Doctorate in Pharmacy preferred
- NV Pharmacist license or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven experience in a pharmacy management role
