Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Washington State Registered Nurse License (or Compact license) upon hire
- 3 years of related clinical experience in area of specialty
- Certification in nursing core specialty upon hire
- Formal educator experience
- Leadership experience
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver educational programs and training for nursing staff in acute care settings
- Design curriculum and course materials for adult education
- Assess the educational needs of nursing staff and create tailored learning plans
- Serve as a mentor and resource for clinical staff
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational interventions and revise programs as needed
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards - Stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing education and acute care
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of adult education principles and course development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and inspire nursing staff
- Proficiency in curriculum development and instructional design
- Strong clinical skills in acute care nursing
- Organizational and time management skills
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in acute care nursing
- Proven formal educator experience
