RN Manager - Operating Room

Position Title: RN Manager - Operating Room
Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time Days
Location: Los Angeles, CA

Job Requirements:
- Must have a valid California RN license (may be obtained upon hire)
- Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible nursing management experience (leadership experience such as Charge Nurse or Nursing Supervisor in an acute care hospital)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred
- Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) and/or CPAN is a plus
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, techniques, and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation

Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the Operating Room department
- Ensure that policies, procedures, and protocols are followed to provide safe and efficient patient care
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure appropriate levels of coverage and skill mix
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective patient care delivery
- Manage departmental budgets and resources
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with physicians, staff, and patients.
