As a Senior Producer, you'll be tasked with owning the management and operations for a variety of client projects and program engagements. You're a natural project leader and have been known to possess excellent communication skills. You love building relationships, running project and design operations and are continuously looking for ways to improve them. You will have a love for creating various types of plans and working with the team and client to see it through. You're able to successfully navigate the tension between giving the team time and space to do their work checking and providing requirements and unblocking them when necessary. Most of all; You truly enjoy delivering great experiences for our Turtle teams and clients.

This position is remote EST. Ideally, you can work within +/- 3hrs PST.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand Turtle’s culture, business, people and processes inside and out so you can best represent us to clients
  • Successfully produce and deliver design projects and programs of various sizes on time and on budget
  • Work as a strategic partner to our clients who understands their brand and business, and proactively identify new opportunities to better serve their needs
  • Own the responsibility for client satisfaction in conjunction with the Account Leadership
  • Feed insights back into the client and Turtle leadership by identifying trends and driving initiatives that systemically improve the customer experience
  • Work with company leads to proactively expand our client base by cross-selling, create project plans, SOWs and roadmaps that elevate client experiences and contribute to their overall design ecosystem
  • Ensure both the team and client are onboarded to the highest quality and with ease
  • As the main point of contact for day-to-day engagement communications and operations, confidently facilitate conflict resolution discussions with clients and project teams
  • Proactively identify dependencies and risks between all ongoing projects and programs and future roadmap within the program develop solutions to present to the client to mitigate, avoid or manage through
  • Contribute to our project and design operations process with other Producers and Turtle teammates
  • Indirectly mentor younger Producers
  • Coordinate with the project team to guarantee the workflow, documentation, and design standards are being upheld
  • Adapt and curate a unique experience for our clients through combining our internal processes and standards with the clients needs or internal processes.
  • Own the project operations for clients you're assigned to including, but not limited to:
    • Weekly updates and scheduling
    • Forecasting and effort estimating
    • Manage and flag increases in scope/budget
    • Risk assessment, tracking, and management
    • Manage project scope/budget through various Turtle tools
    • Reporting and task management for design team and clients
    • Create and maintain engagement documentation
  • Ensure the Head of Product and other key stakeholders are regularly updated on project statuses, risks and issues

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of industry experience
    • Preference given to those with agency and/or startup experience working with a cross-functional product team
  • Unparalleled attention to detail
  • Familiarity with the following tools:
    • Figma
    • Notion
    • Google suite
    • Jira
    • Wordpress
    • Webflow
  • Experience facilitating strategic workshops (business, roadmap, feature planning) with minimal oversight
  • Experience building project/program roadmaps and delivering large-scale design projects
  • A keen interest in Design Operations
  • Good understanding of agile/lean project management methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Communication skills; ability to communicate confidently action items and next steps clearly both internally and client-facing
  • You can read a room (whether in person or over google meet)
  • Motivated and responsible; ability to take ownership of projects and be responsible for managing yourself and the delivery of a project
  • Able to adjust a process for an enterprise or startup company / big and small projects
  • Experience working remotely
  • Experience working with people in different timezones (globally)
  • Strong bias toward action
  • The ability to communicate with VP / C-suite level stakeholders and everyone in between
  • High EQ; Think first, speak second attitude
