We’re searching for a talented Production Designer to parachute into our growing educational client. This contract is approximately 10 hours a week. Is it you? THE ROLE: You love to strategically communicate through visual design. This is critical role maintains a high standard for design excellence from concept to creation. The ideal candidate must possess both creative and technical skills, be extremely organized, and pay close attention to the tiniest of details—as this position will require versioning content, assets and multiple formats within an established design direction. The production designer is responsible for layout, design, formatting and preparation of client-ready files for all channels and mediums, both digital and print. You’ll maintain brand standards and ensure all project assets are accurately formatted, collected and packaged for front end development or print production. You’ll work collaboratively with the team and deliver client ready files.

QUALIFICATIONS: Strong experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, InDesign, Acrobat, Keynote and other creative applications. Strong typographic and layout skills with an eye for design. Outstanding organizational, project management, file-organization and archiving skills are a must. Cross-channel expertise, including website, email, print, and social. Understanding of design principles in typography, color, imagery. Understanding of how to design with variable content, versioning, live assets vs images,and responsive design. Provide solid rationale for copy and creative ideas/choices Showcase excellent communication skills and sharp strategic thinking. Be a strong collaborator in all phases of work, from ideation to feedback Self-starter with ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines Online portfolio with samples showing a variety of work in print, email, social, etc.
