Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with producers to bind and secure renewals and new business.
Handle client requests for endorsements to policies, certificates of insurance, and high-level general questions.
Regular interaction with clients both on the phone and via email.
Handle all servicing aspects of an existing book of business as well as market new business.
Advise and assist clients by explaining coverage options / exclusions; making coverage recommendations; requesting policy changes and assisting with the needs of the client.
Qualifications:
Valid Massachusetts state Property & Casualty Insurance License or Personal Lines License.
5 years of Personal Lines Insurance experience within a brokerage firm.
Good understanding of all coverages and related laws, codes, regulations; all aspects of marketing process; commercial insurance rating, insurance terminology, and concepts; insurance company operations and their relations to the sales/marketing process as well as policy structure and content.
Have excellent time management skills, thrive in a team environment and technology & computer proficiency including agency management systems.
Outstanding communication, written and verbal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
