Pay Range: $30 -$35 / hour, depending on experience, comprehensive benefits package and other perks

Job Description

We are partnering with a well-established, full-service real estate developer and construction company seeking a dependable and well-rounded Maintenance Technician to join their Sioux Falls team. The successful candidate will provide day to day support to ensure facilities are well maintained, inspecting for early detection to prevent larger maintenance issues, and responding to tenant requests.

This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded construction professional or maintenance professional who enjoys variety, problem solving, and has an eye for details. 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general and preventive maintenance and repair work. Troubleshoot HVAC systems. Repair and maintain locks, keys, and access systems.
• Provide general landscaping and outdoor property maintenance such as removing fallen tree limbs, trimming trees, planting, weeding, litter control, outdoor trash removal, sprinkler repairs and light snow removal as needed. 
• Respond to tenant service calls, ensuring efficient and exceptional customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance time and activities, and inventory supplies. Research and source materials from cost-effective vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant maintenance experience, preferably in commercial property management or a similar role.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance, acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of general home and property maintenance such as carpentry, plumbing, painting and mechanical systems and ability to use hand and small power tools. 
• Resourceful problem-solving skills and adaptability to unconventional challenges.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols.
• Professional verbal communication skills to promote positive company - client relationships.
