Job Description:
We are teaming up with a full-service real estate and construction company with longstanding history in the Sioux Falls community in their search for a Construction Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading commercial construction projects from conception to completion, with professional communication, budget and schedule accountability, and a commitment to quality. Construction projects will range from $500k - $5m in value, and may include tenant improvements, commercial/retail, mixed-use buildings, education, healthcare, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the construction process for multiple simultaneous projects from pre-construction phase through close.
- Utilize construction software including Procore, Timberline, Bluebeam, MS Project and Excel to manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure project requirements and objectives are met.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent industry experience also accepted in lieu of degree.
- 4or more years progressive commercial construction experience and knowledgeable with related construction contracts and documentation. Preconstruction and estimating experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Procore, Timberline, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Excel required (or proficiency in similar products).
- Strong project leadership, stakeholder communication, and personal accountability.
