Job Description:
We are teaming up with a reputable construction company seeking an Associate Architect with commercial construction experience to join their team in Sioux Falls, SD. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting projects from design through construction administration, ensuring design excellence and adherence to project timelines and budgets. This role will work collaboratively with an Architectural Designer, drafters, and support the Senior/Principal Architects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the architectural design process for commercial construction projects, utilizing Revit software to create detailed drawings and models.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and construction teams to ensure project requirements and objectives are met.
- Prepare architectural documents and specifications, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or a related field.
- Professional Architect license preferred. Consideration will be given to candidates actively pursuing their license.
- Minimum of 5 years related architecture experience in commercial construction projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
