Job Title: Senior Architect with clear path to Principal Architect

Location: On-site in Sioux Falls, SD

Job Type: Full-time, Regular

Total Rewards: $105,000 - $130,000 annual salary (DOE), annual bonus opportunity, comprehensive benefits, clear growth path

Job Description:

We are teaming up with a reputable construction company seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect with expertise in Revit and commercial construction to join their team in Sioux Falls, SD. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing architectural projects from conception to completion, ensuring design excellence and adherence to project timelines and budgets. This role is on track to become the Principal Architect for the firm, due to an upcoming retirement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design process for commercial construction projects, utilizing Revit software to create detailed drawings and models.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and construction teams to ensure project requirements and objectives are met.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of associate architects, designers, and drafters fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Oversee the preparation of architectural documents and specifications, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or a related field.
• Professional Architect license required. Willingness to obtain architect license in the following states: SD, ND, MN, IA, NE.
• Minimum of 8 years related architecture experience in commercial construction projects.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office required.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness and interest to build community contacts and support new business initiatives.
