Job Description:

Top Talent Connections is teaming up with a reputable truck and equipment repair shop that is growing! The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a shop environment, have knowledge or experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles (semi-trucks, heavy construction equipment, etc.) and be motivated to learn and grow. • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively regarding repairs and maintenance schedules.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.

• At least 1 year experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role, or some technical training or education.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in diesel mechanics is a plus.
