Job Description:

Our client is seeking dedicated and reliable Diesel Mechanics to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a shop environment, have knowledge or experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles (semi-trucks, heavy construction equipment, etc.) and be motivated to learn and grow. Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.- Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts inventory.- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively regarding repairs and maintenance schedules.- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:- At least 1 year experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role, or some technical training or education.- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Education and Experience:- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in diesel mechanics is a plus.
