Job Title: IT Business Support Analyst (Inventory Automation)
Location: 100% Remote (EST, CST, or Mountain Time Preferred)
Duration: 12-Month Contract with Strong Potential for Extension and/or Conversion
About the Opportunity:
Our enterprise-level client with a global presence is seeking an IT Business Support Analyst to support a critical Inventory Automation platform and related enterprise applications. This role serves as a key liaison between business users, IT teams, operations, vendors, and development teams to ensure application reliability, successful system integrations, and a positive user experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working across multiple teams, and contributing to large-scale system modernization and data migration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
-- Manage and resolve ServiceNow tickets related to application support, system integrations, and platform lifecycle issues.
-- Support data migration and platform consolidation efforts from legacy systems to future-state solutions.
-- Collaborate with IT, Software Engineering & Development, Operations, vendors, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
-- Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
--Assist with system enhancements, releases, testing, and site activations.
--Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and system configuration records.
-- Support user onboarding, training, and adoption activities.
-- Analyze issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution across multiple teams.
Required Qualifications:
-- Experience supporting enterprise applications in a business-facing IT environment.
-- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
-- Experience managing and resolving ServiceNow tickets.
-- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
-- Strong communication and customer service skills.
-- Experience supporting system integrations, application lifecycle activities, or data migration initiatives.
-- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
-- Experience supporting inventory management, automation, asset management, or operational technology platforms.
-- Data center industry experience.
-- Experience working with software development or application support teams.
-- Exposure to enterprise system implementations, upgrades, or migrations.
