Senior Director, AI Engineering & Platform

Atlanta, GA | Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Director, AI Engineering & Platform to lead the engineering organization responsible for developing and operating its enterprise AI capabilities.

This position will have responsibility for the people, architecture, engineering practices, and technology platforms that support the organization’s internal AI initiatives. The successful candidate will bring a strong software engineering foundation, substantial experience with AI and machine learning systems, and a proven record of leading technical teams through complex, enterprise-scale initiatives.

This is a leadership role for an individual who can operate at both the strategic and technical levels. The Senior Director will work closely with senior business and technology leaders while maintaining sufficient technical depth to guide architecture, challenge engineering decisions, and establish a high standard for production delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of software engineers, AI/ML engineers, architects, and engineering leaders.
• Establish organizational priorities, technical standards, development practices, and clear measures of success.
• Own the architecture and ongoing development of the enterprise AI platform and associated engineering capabilities.
• Establish scalable and repeatable approaches for developing, deploying, and supporting AI applications and intelligent agents.
• Provide technical leadership across AI application development, platform engineering, MLOps, cloud infrastructure, and production operations.
