Job Title: Traveling Industrial Construction Superintendent
Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX or Baltimore Metro Area
Extensive U.S. Travel Required

Position Summary
The Traveling Industrial Construction Superintendent is responsible for leading and coordinating all field construction activities for industrial projects across multiple geographic regions. This role oversees subcontractors, schedules, safety compliance, quality control, and daily site operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction leader with strong industrial construction experience, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to successfully manage projects in fast-paced environments. This position requires extensive travel throughout the United States.

Key Responsibilities
• Assume ownership of construction projects from mobilization through completion.
• Coordinate and manage all on-site construction activities, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, schedules, and budgets.
• Enforce all applicable safety standards, site requirements, and company policies.
• Lead project planning activities and coordinate upcoming work with project teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and project partners.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, designers, and other stakeholders to support successful project execution.
• Participate in bidding, estimating, procurement, and preconstruction activities as needed.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve field issues.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure workmanship meets project requirements and company standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, schedules, and communication records.
• Utilize construction management and project management software to track project performance and field activities.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously when required.

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably supporting industrial construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors and coordinating field construction activities.
• Experience communicating with owners, owner's representatives, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Familiarity with construction documentation, including contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and invoices.
• Ability to travel extensively to project sites throughout the United States.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Technical Skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Experience using construction management, project management, and document control software platforms.

Additional Information
• Extensive travel is required (60%)
• Company-paid travel expenses.
• Per diem provided in accordance with company travel policies when assigned to out-of-town projects.
• Lodging accommodations provided in accordance with project requirements and company travel guidelines.
• Cell phone allowance provided.
