Associate Developer
Direct Hire/ Full Time Employee
Location: Atlanta, GA preferred (mostly remote with office visits a few times per month)
**May consider remote candidates open to monthly - quarterly travel in EST or CST**
Ready to turn coffee into code (and maybe some business value while you’re at it)? We’re looking for an Associate Developer who’s not afraid to get their hands dirty in real-world applications, squash bugs like a hero, and help us keep our systems humming along beautifully.
What you'll do:
Spend most of your week doing what you love best: writing code (35+ hours of it!)
Collaborate with a team that actually likes talking about design patterns over lunch
Build, maintain, and improve our applications so our users think we’re magic
Hunt down pesky issues and fix them with your problem-solving superpowers
Participate in code reviews—because iron sharpens iron
Learn, grow, and stay curious about the bigger picture (especially in the insurance world)
Attend dojos, trainings, and all the other fun stuff that keeps your skills sharp
What we're looking for:
A Bachelor’s degree (or working toward one) in Computer Science or a related field
0–2 years of professional experience (we love fresh perspectives)
Comfort with Java and Spring Boot (bonus points for other languages you bring along for the ride)
Familiarity with Git (or a willingness to become besties with it)
A knack for unit testing and debugging (because bugs don’t fix themselves)
Strong communication chops and a team-first mindset
A curiosity that can’t be contained and a love of learning new things (especially AI-driven outcomes)
