Job Title: Mobile Software Engineer
Location: Atlanta, Georgia (3 days onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Mobile Tech Lead to architect, develop, and support cutting-edge mobile solutions integrated with IoT technology in a large-scale, cloud-enabled environment. In this hands-on, individual contributor role, you’ll be responsible for building high-performance applications and SDKs that power smart devices, while working closely with cross-functional engineering teams. You will bring deep mobile development expertise, paired with strong knowledge of cloud services and connected devices, to help lead key initiatives from design to deployment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, user-centric mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Develop and maintain mobile SDKs for integration into third-party applications.
  • Interface directly with Bluetooth stacks across major mobile platforms to support seamless device connectivity.
  • Manage the end-to-end deployment lifecycle for apps via Google Play and the Apple App Store.
  • Collaborate with team members to test, profile, and optimize code for performance and reliability.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and feature delivery.
  • Partner with product teams and designers to shape mobile user experiences and technical solutions.
  • Contribute to mobile development best practices, including automated testing and version control.
  • Support application scalability and integration with backend services and IoT hardware.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of native mobile development experience using Swift (iOS), Kotlin (Android), and React Native.
  • Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, backend APIs, and cloud integration.
  • Practical experience working with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and sensor-based mobile applications.
  • Experience managing mobile deployments, certificates, and store publishing requirements.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, with a strong understanding of mobile front-end patterns.
  • Prior experience with IoT device communication, data streaming, and sensor integration is preferred.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in collaborative, fast-paced teams.
