Our client, a leading digital banking technology provider is seeking a Collaboration Services Manager to join its Information Technology organization. This role will lead a global team supporting collaboration tools and platforms—primarily Microsoft 365—for a workforce of approximately 2,000 employees. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive solution development and third-level support across a dynamic and growing organization.

This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing collaboration services, overseeing solution development lifecycles, and working closely with global teams and outsourced service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Collaboration Services team, overseeing platforms such as Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, the Power Platform, and other related Microsoft 365 services.
  • Provide direction and oversight for offshore support and outsourced providers to ensure successful solution delivery and operations.
  • Own the end-to-end solution development lifecycle: planning, design, build, testing, knowledge transfer, and ongoing support.
  • Drive adoption of self-service and end-user automation tools to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of systems, processes, and procedures related to collaboration services.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies; lead testing and deployment of collaboration-related software.
  • Track and maintain operational metrics and service KPIs.
  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration and act as a liaison across departments and leadership levels.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in backend office IT leadership roles.
  • Proven expertise in designing, administering, and supporting Microsoft collaboration solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Microsoft SharePoint administration
    • Microsoft Exchange / Exchange Online
    • Microsoft Teams and Teams Rooms
    • Microsoft Office 2019+ / Microsoft 365 ProPlus
  • Experience managing or leading small teams, including offshore and vendor resources.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
  • Scripting experience, especially PowerShell
