Company Overview
Our client, a leader in the digital banking space, is looking to add an Oracle Database Administrator to their team.

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to manage and support Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres databases across development, production, and enhancement environments. You’ll play a key role in maintaining performance, ensuring system availability, and supporting complex installations in a high-availability environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres databases for day-to-day operations and system enhancements.
  • Perform maintenance tasks including backups, recovery, reorganization, space management, performance tuning, and change management.
  • Provide support to developers and internal teams for database usage and integration.
  • Monitor systems for performance and resource utilization; report on key metrics and recommend improvements.
  • Install, configure, and maintain high-availability and clustered environments.
  • Follow change control and audit processes; maintain software maintenance and upgrade schedules.
  • Ensure systems align with enterprise architecture and compatibility standards.
  • Deliver 24/7 on-call support for assigned systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues; provide root cause analysis and long-term solutions.
  • Contribute to team knowledge sharing, documentation, and internal communications.
  • Participate in enterprise-wide IT projects and cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle and SQL Server Database Administration.
  • Experience with Postgres is required.
  • Strong understanding of performance tuning, backup/recovery, and high-availability architecture.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on large-scale and complex projects.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Must handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
