Appian Architect

Remote - Must be in CST or EST time zones, Atlanta is preferred

Lead technical resource responsible for the successful design, development and implementation of key business solutions on the Appian platform. This will be done by leveraging the knowledge of the Appian design patterns and technical experience to guide the team through project life cycle.

Specific duties: 

• Building custom Appian applications and utilizing out-of-the-box functionality when practical
• Provide best practice guidance to ensure that solutions are developed for future growth/scalability
• Implementing improvements and new functionality in Appian application
• Providing technical support/assistance and coaching to other developers and users
• Participating in project meetings with other technical staff and business owners and subject matter experts
• Auditing, documenting, and assisting in the correction of any issues identified
• Oversee / QA work products delivered by external vendor resources

Qualification/Experience Required:

• Appian development and architect roles
• Certification: Appian Certified Lead Developer
• 4+ years related experience working with business / end users
• Working knowledge of application servers, web servers, and operating systems
