**Job Title:** Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
**Location:** Columbus, OH
**Job Type:** Permanent
**Position Overview:**
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for managing the financial actions of the company, with a strong focus on the manufacturing industry and strategic planning. The CFO will report directly to the CEO and will be a key member of the executive team, providing leadership and coordination of the companys financial planning, debt financing, and budget management functions. The CFO will also ensure the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and plans to support the companys strategic goals.
- Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, and tax functions.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team.
- Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting.
- Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
- Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
- Review all formal finance, HR, and IT-related procedures.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Lead the financial evaluation of new projects, investments, and operational improvements.
- Oversee the companys transaction processing systems.
- Implement operational best practices.
- Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position.
- Proven experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP).
- Ability to strategize and solve complex problems.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
