- Previous shipping, receiving, inventory, warehouse, or production support experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to identify electronic components and read Bills of Material
- 1+ year of Microsoft Excel and Word experience
- 1+ year of data entry experience
- Experience working within an ESD-controlled environment
- Ability to perform physical warehouse tasks including lifting and moving materials or equipment

FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support receiving, shipping, inventory control, production kitting, and material movement within an aerospace and defense electronics manufacturing environment. This temp-to-hire role will be responsible for receiving and shipping materials, pulling kits using Bills of Material, identifying electronic components, maintaining receiving records, responding to rush requests and expedites, and supporting accurate inventory movement. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, and able to manage both physical warehouse tasks and detailed computer-based documentation.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Receiving incoming materials, components, supplies, and equipment
- Preparing and processing outgoing shipments
- Supporting inventory inspection and control activities
- Pulling production kits using Bills of Material
- Identifying electronic components required for board assemblies
- Using reel counters, weight scales, and related warehouse or production equipment
- Verifying materials against applicable Bills of Material and production requirements
- Responding to rush requests and daily expedite needs
- Responding to requests for shipped and received product information
- Maintaining accurate daily receiving logs
- Maintaining accurate shipping, receiving, inventory, and transaction records
- Entering shipping, receiving, and inventory information into applicable systems
- Supporting material movement between warehouse and production areas
- Coordinating with Production personnel regarding material requirements and priorities
- Supporting inventory accuracy and organization
- Preparing materials for production use
- Packaging, labeling, and staging outgoing materials or products as required
- Working with UPS, FedEx, and other shipping carriers
- Supporting carrier pickups and shipment coordination
- Communicating shipment and receiving status to appropriate internal personnel
- Identifying discrepancies in shipments, inventory, or documentation
- Escalating shipping, receiving, or inventory issues as appropriate
- Maintaining an organized warehouse and receiving area
- Following applicable ESD handling requirements
- Following established warehouse, manufacturing, and safety procedures
- Completing additional warehouse, shipping, receiving, or production support projects as assigned
The selected candidate will also possess:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous shipping, receiving, inventory, warehouse, or production support experience preferred
- Electronics manufacturing or production warehouse experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to identify electronic components required
- Ability to read and work from Bills of Material required
- Experience working within an ESD-controlled environment required
- 1+ year of Microsoft Excel experience required
- 1+ year of Microsoft Word experience required
- 1+ year of data entry experience required
- Knowledge of UPS, FedEx, and other shipping carrier systems preferred
- Experience using reel counters, weight scales, or similar inventory equipment preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- Strong data-entry accuracy required
- Strong attention to detail required
- Ability to multitask within a fast-paced working environment required
- Ability to respond effectively to rush requests and changing priorities
- Flexibility and openness to change required
- Strong organizational skills required
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment

- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout warehouse, shipping, receiving, and production areas
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving materials or equipment as required
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, crouch, and move throughout warehouse and production areas
- Ability to use hands and fingers for packaging, labeling, scanning, data entry, material handling, and electronic component identification
- Ability to perform repetitive picking, kitting, shipping, receiving, and inventory-related activities
- Ability to safely use reel counters, weight scales, carts, and other applicable material-handling equipment
- Ability to visually identify electronic components, labels, part numbers, shipping documentation, and inventory records
- Ability to work around warehouse traffic, production equipment, electronic components, and normal manufacturing activity
- Ability to work within an ESD-controlled environment
- Ability to wear required PPE and follow applicable warehouse, manufacturing, ESD, quality, and safety procedures
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while handling physical materials and inventory documentation
Salary Range: $20 to $25/hour
