• Experience working in manufacturing within the food, cosmetics, or medical industries

• Basic math skills and the ability to read English

• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time

• Must live within a 15-mile radius of Torrance, CA

FULL DESCRIPTION:

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Overseeing and assisting in the operation of the Coating Lines

• Following GMPs and training staff accordingly

• Assisting the supervisor with coordinating workflow, training new hires, and other assigned duties

• Disassembling, cleaning, and setting up encapsulation machines as well as other production equipment

• Cleaning floors and walls, and sanitizing rooms per established procedures

• Reviewing batch records for accuracy and completeness, correctly documenting all steps in the process

• Observing machines during operation, making adjustments as needed, and inspecting for wear and tear

• Coordinating with supervisors to increase productivity and product quality

• Handling raw materials and components used during the production process

• Maintaining proper attire and PPE at all times to ensure product integrity per cGMPs and company SOPs

• Following instructions on batch records to manufacture products within company and customer specifications

• Taking product samples and performing in-process testing as per batch record instructions

• Reporting any issues in the production process to the Production Supervisor

The selected candidate will also possess:

• Understanding and knowledge of various manufacturing operations and cGMP requirements

• Good communication skills and the ability to provide job-related training to new production personnel

• Physical ability to stand/walk 75%–100% of the day (roughly 6 to 8 hours) and perform slight bending/maneuvering

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Availability to work 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Salary Range: $18.00 to $18.75/hour (depending on shift)
