FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a Part-Time Outbound Assistant to support medical and legal evaluation appointments at assigned facilities. This role is responsible for driving to assigned locations, greeting and checking in physicians, attorneys, examinees, and other parties, preparing paperwork, editing reports and correspondence, taking basic patient vitals, and assisting with communication, follow-up, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, medical terminology knowledge, excellent proofreading and editing abilities, a dependable vehicle, and the ability to provide professional support in a client-facing environment.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Driving to assigned facilities for scheduled appointments
- Greeting and checking in physicians, attorneys, examinees, and other parties
- Communicating professionally with examinees, interpreters, court reporters, doctors, attorneys, and internal team members
- Preparing paperwork and reports
- Editing reports and legal or medical correspondence
- Proofreading documents for spelling, grammar, punctuation, clarity, and accuracy
- Taking basic patient vitals, including range of motion, blood pressure, and temperature
- Assisting doctors and attorneys with phone calls, emails, reports, and follow-up items
- Supporting appointment flow and ensuring all required documentation is complete
- Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality when handling medical and legal information
- Providing excellent customer service to clients, examinees, and onsite contacts
- Performing other duties as assigned
The selected candidate will also possess:
- Valid driver's license required

- Ability to work independently while traveling to assigned facilities
- Ability to work part-time hours
- Ability to work in Sacramento, CA and surrounding local service areas
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to drive locally to assigned facilities as needed
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout assigned facilities as needed
- Ability to communicate by phone, email, and in person throughout the workday
- Ability to use hands and fingers for paperwork, typing, editing, documentation, vitals support, and standard administrative tasks
- Ability to review reports, correspondence, medical or legal documentation, appointment information, and computer screens for extended periods
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move standard office files, paperwork, supplies, or small materials as needed
- Ability to maintain professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail while supporting appointments in client-facing environments
