Job Description

Talent Management Group (TMG) is expanding and seeks a dynamic Business Development Executive to lead growth efforts in the Michigan territory. We are looking for a results-oriented professional with a proven track record in client relationship management, exceeding sales targets, and expertise in manufacturing quality, direct hire placements, and staffing solutions tailored to the manufacturing sector. This role demands a proactive approach, strong sales acumen, and the ability to effectively articulate the value of TMG’s services to meet diverse customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute a sales strategy to expand TMG’s footprint within the Michigan territory.
  • Build Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Territory Analysis: Assess the market’s potential, identify key opportunities, and track progress through regular sales reports.
  • Prospecting: Utilize tools like LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and other platforms to identify and engage potential clients.
  • Meet Targets: Achieve weekly sales appointment KPIs and consistently hit monthly revenue goals.
  • Communicate Value: Demonstrate a deep understanding of TMG’s services, including third-party quality inspection and containment, light industrial staffing, and direct hire placements for manufacturing clients.

Qualifications:

  • Sales Expertise: Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within third-party inspection, direct hire placement, or staffing industries.
  • Relationship Management: Strong ability to foster and maintain positive business relationships.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to assess market potential and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and sales prospecting tools.
  • Exceptional Communication: Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Team & Independence: Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a
  • collaborative team environment.
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • (or equivalent experience).
  • Willingness to Travel: Availability to travel within Michigan to meet clients and prospects.
