Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our client's dynamic team in their Peru, Indiana location. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and providing valuable financial insights to management. The salary for this position is $40,000/year and up.
Key Responsibilities
- General/Cost Accounting /Financial Accounting / Reporting to Senior Manager
- Handling Consolidated Financial Statements
- Handling independent Internal Audit & Control Department
- Handling Assets Disposal, Deferred Tax assets, liability
- Cash Flow Items / P&L forecast
- Simplifying all accounting working schedules, reporting packages to HQ, and budget templates
- Monthly accounting closing and reporting to HQ based on IFRS
- Tidying up various working files in Excel to tally with QuickBooks records
- Accruals items / cut-off items / deferred tax transactions / bad debt items
- Managing EF (End Financing) with bankers, annual budget, Bank Loan, and Taxation
- Implementing and enhancing controls on new customer requisitions
- Reviewing various memos and documents from other departments (All Expenses)
- Debit Note and Credit Note Requisition, AP invoice approval, etc.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in financial statement preparation and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
