Job Description

Talent Management Group has partnered with our client, a manufacturing company located in Peru, IN, to hire an HR Manager for their team. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes within the organization. This role ensures the implementation of HR strategies that align with the company’s objectives, and promote employee satisfaction needed to foster and maintain a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing,
  • and onboarding of new employees.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and ensure proper staffing levels.
2. Employee Relations:
  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters, addressing issues and grievances.
  • Foster a positive work environment by managing employee engagement and satisfaction programs.
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage offboarding processes.
3. Performance Management:
  • Develop and implement performance management systems and procedures.
  • Provide guidance to managers on employee development and career planning.
  • Organize and facilitate performance reviews and feedback sessions.
4.  Compliance and Policy Management:
  • Ensure that the company is in compliance with local, state,  and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks as needed.
  • Lead investigations related to workplace harassment, discrimination, and other
  • issues in line with company policies.
5. Training and Development:
  • Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Coordinate leadership and professional development initiatives for employees.
6. Compensation and Benefits Administration:
  • Oversee payroll and ensure accurate compensation processing.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
  • Conduct market research to ensure competitive salary and benefits packages.
7. HR Data and Reporting:
  • Maintain HR databases and ensure data integrity.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Prepare regular reports on employee demographics, turnover, and other HR-related statistics.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in HR Management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with HR software (e.g., HRIS systems).
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
