We are currently seeking a skilled Construction Estimator with experience in design-build, interior buildout, and commercial remodels to join our client's dynamic team. Our client is a leading commercial and industrial construction company specializing in high-quality interior buildouts, as well as new and design builds. Position Overview:

As a Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of all projects. You will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates, managing project budgets, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project success. Your expertise will include, but not be limited to, estimating costs for drywall, trim packages, and various other interior general contracting needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for interior buildout projects, including drywall, trim packages, and various other interior general contracting needs.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to understand project scope and requirements.
• Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather necessary information.
• Source and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and present project budgets and cost reports to management and clients.
• Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as necessary to ensure alignment with actual costs.
• Maintain and update a database of cost information and historical data for future reference.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and bid submissions.
• Ensure all estimating activities comply with company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field and or experience.
• 3-5 years experience in construction estimating, specifically with interior buildout projects, including drywall and trim packages.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost structures.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, ProEst) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
