About the Role:
You will act as a trusted HR Business Representative, providing day-to-day support across the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR data analysis. Working closely with managers and employees, you will ensure HR policies are applied consistently, issues are addressed quickly, and Workday is used effectively to support accurate decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including investigations, performance concerns, and policy violations, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Support compensation and benefits administration, including job evaluations, salary changes, and benefits inquiries, in line with company guidelines.
- Utilise Workday to maintain accurate employee records, process HR transactions, and support organisational changes.
- Conduct HR data analysis and reporting, providing insights and recommendations to support workforce planning and decision-making.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation between employees and managers, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Partner with business leaders to support organisational changes, restructures, and other HR initiatives.
- Assist with compliance-related activities, ensuring HR practices align with relevant employment laws and internal policies.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or HR Representative role, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Strong track record in employee relations management, including handling complex cases and investigations.
- Hands-on experience with Workday HRIS for transactions, reporting, and data maintenance.
- Solid understanding of compensation and benefits administration processes and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse HR data, generate reports, and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Advanced conflict resolution and mediation skills, with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
- Ability to work independently in a contract capacity, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience supporting HR in a multi-site or matrixed organisation.
- Familiarity with Texas employment law and regulations.
- Exposure to change management and organisational development initiatives.
- Experience contributing to HR process improvements and standardisation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Additional training or certification in mediation, conflict resolution, or employee relations is an advantage.
