About the Role:

In this position, you will operate and set up production machines on the 2nd shift, ensuring equipment runs safely, efficiently, and to specification. You will perform routine checks and basic preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and maintain product quality. Working closely with your shift team, you’ll help keep production targets on track while maintaining a clean and organised work area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery according to established procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
• Set up machines at the start of the shift, including loading materials, adjusting basic settings, and verifying readiness for production.
• Monitor machines during operation, checking for proper function, product quality, and any irregularities.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and simple adjustments as directed.
• Inspect finished parts visually and with basic measuring tools, separating nonconforming products as required.
