Key Responsibilities:- Process weekly, bi-weekly payroll using Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable regulations.- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions, benefits, and other adjustments.- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries related to payroll.- Generate and distribute payroll reports and statements as needed.- Assist in year-end payroll activities, including tax reporting and reconciliations.- Stay informed of changes in payroll legislation and ensure processes are compliant with federal and provincial laws.- Experience with end of year and T4 cleanup.
Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, with specific experience using Workday.- Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations in Canada.- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.- Full Cycle Payroll experience
Contract Details:- Duration: 3 months- Compensation: Depending on Experience- Schedule: 30-40 hours per week, work is remote, potential to go into the office 1 or 2 times per month.
