Key Responsibilities
System Monitoring: Use data acquisition systems to track energy production and identify potential performance issues.
Inspections & Maintenance: Conduct visual, mechanical, and electrical inspections of solar panels, inverters, and other components to ensure proper functionality.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair malfunctions in electrical, mechanical, and communication systems using specialized tools.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system performance, and any issues found.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety standards, protocols, and warranty requirements.
Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise: Proficient knowledge of electrical systems, solar energy technologies, and grid-tied systems.
Diagnostic Tools: Experience with tools such as I/V Curve Tracers, Meggers, and other diagnostic equipment.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze performance data, identify problems, and develop corrective action plans.
Safety Certifications: OSHA 30-hour and NFPA 70e certifications are often preferred.
