Job Description

An established Atlanta-based Commercial General Contractor is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team. We are looking for a high-energy leader who can manage the full project lifecycle, from buyout and scheduling to final closeout, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.


Core Responsibilities
• Project Set-Up: Lead buyout, bid comparisons, and sub-evaluations; develop master schedules and secure permits.
• Execution: Manage RFI and Submittal logs, lead weekly project meetings, and review logs with Superintendents.
• Financials: Execute payment applications, code invoices, and assemble prime contract change orders.
• Compliance: Ensure all contracts, insurance, and bonds are in place before work begins.
• Closeout: Manage punch lists and certify all close-out documentation.
• Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact for owners, design teams, and subcontractors.

Requirements
• Experience: 5+ years in Project Management with a General Contractor (Atlanta market preferred).
• Software: Procore proficiency is required. Must be skilled in Bluebeam and MS Project.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Business, or a related field.
• Location: Must live in the Metro Atlanta area.
• Skills: Strong communication, "Can Do" attitude, and a deep understanding of construction drawings and critical path scheduling.
