Position Overview

Reporting to the Vice President, the Paralegal will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and tracking legal documentation while supporting internal teams with lease-related administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify, review, and approve lease agreements and related documents prepared by the leasing department.
  • Draft and revise lease agreements, amendments, relocation agreements, assignments, cancellation contracts, renewals, and other related documents.
  • Prepare and manage lease data entry forms.
  • Collaborate with leasing agents, construction teams, accounting, property managers, and regional directors to coordinate lease documentation.
  • Conduct legal research on restrictions related to lease agreements, offers, and other legal documents.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to tenant requests, internal department inquiries, and lease compliance matters.

Desired Candidate

  • College diploma in Paralegal Studies or related field.
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience, preferably in commercial real estate.
  • Strong legal drafting and document review skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple entities.
  • Versatile and able to work efficiently across multiple teams.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
