Information Assurance Specialist

Support the mission at Hanscom AFB to secure Air Force Information Network (AFIN) systems and sustain mission-critical infrastructure.

You will develop, implement, oversee, and maintain the organization's comprehensive Information Assurance (IA) program across various classification levels (Secret, TS/SCI, SAP). Key responsibilities include:

• Policy Enforcement: Implementing and enforcing all Air Force IA policies and procedures.

• User Management: Ensuring all users possess the necessary clearances, need-to-know, and mandatory IA training.

• Accreditation: Developing and maintaining Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation for organization-specific systems connected to the Hanscom Network.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/IT (or 4 additional years of experience).

• 6+ years of DoD/Federal Agency Cybersecurity experience.

• Strong knowledge of DoD and Air Force IA Directives.

• Security+ certification required.

• Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) Clearance required.
