Our client is a pioneering technology firm specializing in high-performance decentralized systems. With a foundation in quantitative finance and low-latency engineering, the team applies its expertise to solve the most demanding computational challenges in the blockchain space. Their contributions are integral to the Solana network, spanning core infrastructure, open-source tooling, and widely-used on-chain applications.
The firm is looking for a talented and driven Data Engineer to take full ownership of its on-chain analytics platform. In this role, you will build the systems that transform raw blockchain data into actionable intelligence. Your work will be foundational to the company's research, internal strategies, and product development, providing critical insights from the vast landscape of real-time and historical Solana data.
Develop and manage scalable data ingestion systems to stream on-chain data into an analytical database (e.g., ClickHouse).
Consume data directly from the source by interacting with RPC endpoints and Solana's core architecture.
Create compelling data visualizations and monitoring dashboards that provide actionable insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Guarantee the integrity, availability, and speed of all data services and infrastructure under your purview.
Perform in-depth analysis of network health, validator economics, and on-chain staking dynamics.
Hands-on mastery of a modern data analytics stack, including OLAP databases (ClickHouse preferred) and visualization tools (e.g., Grafana).
Extensive experience (3+ years) in backend development using Python, along with proficiency in shell scripting and modern DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes).
Significant professional development experience (2+ years) using Rust for performance-critical systems.
Demonstrated experience with blockchain data extraction, either through building custom indexers or utilizing existing data APIs.
In-depth knowledge of the Solana blockchain's core concepts, including its transaction lifecycle, account structure, and program interactions.
Familiarity with event-driven architecture and message brokers like Kafka or Pulsar.
