Job Title: Accounting Coordinator
Position Overview:
The Billing Coordinator is responsible for processing customer sales, invoices, and shipments/pickups while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This role requires strong data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, productivity-driven environment.
Strong 10-key/data entry proficiency
At least 1 year of Microsoft Outlook experience
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attendance record and reliability
Process customer sales, invoices, and shipments/pickups
Review sales tax rates for accuracy
Process freight billings to customers
Perform administrative duties such as scanning and telephone support
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
Flexibility to vary hours and work overtime as required by business needs
Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives
Represent the organization professionally, ensuring quality customer service
Follow all company policies, rules, and safety procedures
Ability to read and follow directions with strong reading comprehension
Strong written communication and correspondence skills
Basic math proficiency
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Knowledge of basic to intermediate-level functions in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work in a high-volume, productivity-driven environment
High accuracy and speed in 10-key and/or alpha-numeric data entry
Proven customer service experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Analytical and detail-oriented mindset
Dependable and reliable work ethic
Accurate and timely billing for assigned locations
Consistent review of billing for assigned locations
Positive attitude, adaptability, and teamwork
Regular attendance in line with departmental requirements and minimal unscheduled time off
