IT Manager / Epicor Administrator (Prophet 21 Focus)
Direct Hire/FTE
Location: Livermore, CA (100% onsite)

We’re looking for a forward-thinking IT Manager to oversee our technology infrastructure and drive operational success through proactive system management and ERP innovation.

• Oversee the full scope of IT operations, including servers, networks, cybersecurity, and software systems.

• Provide technical leadership in managing and improving our Epicor ERP (Prophet 21) platform.

• Develop and enforce IT and cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.

• Manage the IT team — hiring, training, setting KPIs, and driving team performance.

• Collaborate with leadership to align technology infrastructure with business goals.

• Lead IT budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for infrastructure upgrades and initiatives.

• Design and implement integrated systems to increase efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and system reliability.

• Deliver ERP training, user support, and process improvement initiatives tied to Epicor Prophet 21.

• Research emerging technologies and recommend future IT solutions.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

• Proven experience as an IT Manager, plus hands-on experience with Epicor ERP (preferably Prophet 21).

• Solid understanding of cybersecurity, infrastructure, and ERP systems.

• Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT management tools.

• Ability to drive strategic change and communicate effectively across departments.

Preferred:

• 7+ years in distribution component sales or technical sales for electro-mechanical components.

• Proven success building IT frameworks from the ground up.

• Familiarity with KPI-driven performance metrics.

• Expertise in Epicor Prophet 21 administration and user training.
