Python Developer – Linux Systems 

�� Location: Philadelphia, PA (relocation available)
�� Full-Time/Direct Hire/Salaried /Exempt

We’re seeking a hands-on Python Developer who thrives in Linux environments.  If you enjoy building automation, streamlining systems, and solving problems with clean code—and you never want to touch Windows—this role is for you.

�� What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based solutions on Linux systems

• Build automation scripts and tools to improve system efficiency

• Support and maintain production applications and internal tools

• Recommend and implement improvements and best practices

• Assist with file transfer infrastructure enhancements, bug fixes, and testing

✅ What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

• 3+ years of professional experience using Python and shell scripting

• Required: Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix systems (not Windows)

• Experience with scripting (Bash/Shell) and handling large data sets

• Familiarity with relational databases and cloud technologies is a plus

• Understanding of file formats and transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP, etc.)

• Comfortable supporting systems during early morning shifts

• Exposure to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Experience testing and debugging tools in high-throughput environments
